Day 1 – Marrakech – Welcome and meeting with the accompanying guide at the airport – Transfer to hotel or riad – Free time for a first contact with the city and its medina

DJEMAA EL-FNA SQUARE
This square is the main square of the city and during the whole day it attracts tourists and locals alike, who go while the sun is shining to visit the orange juice and water stalls, as well as snake charmers, women who paint with henna or boys with monkeys.
In the evening the atmosphere changes and you can see dancers, musicians and minstrels, who fill the place completely, and provide an atmosphere of drums and fun.
We recommend sitting down in one of the surrounding cafes to enjoy the atmosphere or to go to dinner at one of the more than 100 stands that are set up at this time and with different types of Moroccan food.
Day 2 – Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
After breakfast departure to Casablanca.
Free visit of the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque, whoever wishes can make the optional visit of the interior.
Then we will go to Rabat, political/administrative capital of Morocco, for a visit of the Mausoleum of Mohamed V, the Tower of Hassan II and the Kasbah Oudayas.
Day 3 – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis Roman Ruins – Fez Breakfast.
Departure to Meknes, visit at your own pace the city, linked to the name of Moulay Ismail, the great sultan of the Alouita dynasty.
Free visit of the walled Medina of the city, the Bab Mansour gate and the Hedim square.
Then visit Volubilis, capital of Roman Morocco declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. Arrival in Fez, cultural and religious capital of the country.
Free time for a first contact with the city and its medina.
Day 4 – Fez – Visit with local guide
In the morning, at the appointed time, departure for the visit with a local guide of Fez, the oldest of the country’s Imperial Cities, approaching the doors of the Royal Palace and going through the Jewish quarter, the impressive Medina, with its typical stores and artisans’ quarters, the dyers’ quarter, the exterior of the Mosque, the Koranic School, Al Bouanania, and the University El Quaraouiyne.
Free time in the afternoon to continue enjoying the city.
Day 5 – Fez – Ifrane “Moroccan Swiss” – Cedar forests and azrou monkeys – Middle Atlas Mountains – Medalt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Merzouga – Camel ride – Magic night in Berber camp (haimas)
After breakfast, we take the route to the desert through the university town of Ifrane, better known as the “Moroccan Switzerland”, and because it is one of the favorite cities of the king of Morocco, the forest of cedars and monkeys of Azrou and the landscapes of the Atlas, until you reach the Ziz Valley, a large palm grove.
We will arrive in Merzouga and change our vehicle for the dromedaries for a ride to the bottom of the dunes, watch an unforgettable sunset and spend the night in a Berber camp. Typical dinner to the rhythm of drums.
This will undoubtedly be a magical night!
Day 6 – Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Those who wish can get up early to watch the sunrise from the dunes, a spectacle of nature that is enjoyed in few places like this one.
We’ll say goodbye to the dunes and head towards Erfoud from where we’ll start our journey to Tineghir and Todra. We will make a stop to visit its impressive gorges perched at 1350 m altitude and surrounded by a palm grove, and then arrive in the city of Boumalne, where the other gorges called Dades were formed.
A beautiful journey through valleys, Berber villages, kabashs and a landscape of contrasts between palm trees and vegetation. Today we will spend the night surrounded by mountains and valleys.
Day 7 – Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Skoura Palm Grove – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Tichka Port (2260m) – Marrakech
After breakfast, and once past the Valley of the Roses and the city of Ouarzazate, located on a large plateau, we will go inside to visit one of the best Ksurs – not to say the best – preserved in Morocco: Ait Ben Haddou, a fortress village built in adobe, scene of many films and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Continuation of the route through the High Atlas, crossing the Port of Tichka (2260 m) surrounded by impressive mountains. Arrival in Marrakech and transfer to hotel or Riad.
Free time to continue enjoying the magical atmosphere that is breathed in the city.
Day 8 – Marrakech – Free time or if the scheduled time of departure of the flight allows it, optional visit with a local guide – At the agreed time, transfer to the airport
